Each safe holds the same locked copy of a letter. They are kept in different places and do not depend on one another.

The file is encrypted on your device first. A storage provider never receives your open photos, documents or password.

Many computers instead of one main server

They keep copies of the encrypted file. No single computer is the only owner or point of failure.

Without jargon: the file is kept in several independent places, not in one office behind one door.

The capsule moves, but does not change

You can copy the UDDP file to new devices and storage. Its opening date, protection and contents stay the same.

The recipient does not need an Untilum account

Only three things are needed: one intact capsule copy, the chosen time having arrived, and the password.

No storage location has to be the only one

An open format preserves the ability to read the capsule. Independent copies preserve the file itself.
